I messed up in high school and ended up graduating with a 3.41 thanks to a significant upward trend my last two years...

Unfortunately, I ended up at a college that I don't ever see myself becoming content with. I'll try to make peace with it, but in case I don't...

Right now I have 9 credit hours thanks to AP/IB and will be taking 17 this semester at a top 65ish public university. My planned major is in the business field, but this school doesn't really specialize in that area at all.
...anyway...

what type of grades do I need to earn this year in order to have a good shot at transferring to a UVA or UNC, maybe even Georgetown?? do I need a 4.0 to have a decent shot or would a 3.7ish suffice? I'll also probably have some solid (if unspectacular) extracurriculars.

I would have in-state status at UVA and I scored a 1340/2070 on the SAT and a 32 (36 reading, 35 english, 28 math, 28 science) on the ACT. UVA was the only one of these schools I applied to out of high school; I was rejected.

Thanks for any input.
