I really want to transfer to Georgetown's Business school around my sophomore to junior year. I'm a freshman at Virginia Tech and even if my SAT scores are low (1890) would I still be able to transfer if I have a good GPA?

Hey I’m a future transfer too! I’m sure if you had a high gpa that you should be fine…cuz I am in the same situation but have a feeling that if i get a 3.8-4.0 gpa it shud be ok…anyone disagree?

haha i guess that makes three of us. im going to Florida State University and will be applying as a sophomore. I should be able to have 3.8 as least when applying, but my SAT wasnt too amazing (around 1200). I hear however that they look at your SAT to determine how well you will do in college but if you have a good gpa in college then that will tend to the poor SAT score.

I’m also applying to MSB! Has anyone had an interview already?

That’s really interesting… I am a sophomore at Georgetown looking to transfer to VT. Georgetown is a beautiful school with very interesting people, but I found the atmosphere to be too competitive for me to be happy. I am pretty sure that Georgetown looks at a lot of other things than just SAT scores. I think my SAT score was 2010 or 2090. And as a transfer student, I think they will put a good amount of weight on how well you’ve done in your current school and your involvement.
