Transferring with non-transferable F

I am currently attending is State school in California and am trying to transfer out of state and I think I will end up failing one of my classes this semester.
The thing is though is that this class does not transfer to the school I’m trying to transfer too. So, I know that it will not have an effect on my GPA when I transfer, but will it still be seen on my transcript and will the school possibly not accept me for it? The rest of my grades are good, especially my transferable ones.
Thanks for any help!

Yes. Besides getting credit for the courses that you have taken, your GPA won’t transfer over anyways, so it doesn’t really matter whether or the grades are nontransferable. Other colleges that you are transferring into will see the F on your transcript/midterm report, and this could be detrimental to your chances of getting in.
