<p>I'm just wondering if there's anyone out there who was accepted as a transfer and is planning on attending in the fall or spring this upcoming academic year? I'm going to be a sophomore (class of 2014!), and I'm planning on majoring in women and gender studies and possibly doing a minor or double major in either environmental studies, psychology, or education. I'm just curious to see how many of Smith transfers are out there on CC :)</p>

<p>RS, I’m guessing you may be one of the few, the very proud, who made it as a transfer this year. (Curious as to the interplay between regular admissions and transfer admissions.)</p>

<p>TheDad - Indeed! It was a very interesting process, to say the least. I also applied as a senior in HS and felt the transfer app process was a lot less subjective and a bit more straightforward.</p>
<p>My younger D was a transfer last year from Brooklyn College. We have all been very happy with her experience @ Smith.</p>
<p>She received Praxis funding for her unpaid internship this summer. She wouldn’t have been able to take the internship without it. She is working for a publisher in Manhattan! She comes home on the weekends and works so she will have her portion of her tuition in the fall.</p>
