<p>i'm applying as a transfer and have been looking up numbers like crazy:
in recent yrs anywhere from 350ish-400 apply, about 100 are accepted, and about 50-60 of those actually matriculate</p>
<p>last yr: 350 applied for approx 50 spaces. also, rates vary from yr to yr, but for the past couple of years the transfer acceptance rate has actually been a bit higher than the overall freshman acceptance rate ( 26% in 2004)</p>
