Hey guys, im hoping of transferring to a csu, however my gpa is a 2.7 and my SAT scores are 1500, what are my chances?

SAT scores does not matter, it only counts if you were a senior in high school applying to CSU/UCs. A 2.7 GPA will get you into a CSU that is in your local area due to their agreement to take all students that live within a certain area due to budget cuts and major impaction. Check which CSU that is nearest to you. If you are planning on applying to a CSU out of your local area than a 2.7 GPA realistically is not competitive enough. To be a strong candidate you must have a 3.5+ GPA, completed all of the required courses to transfer, and it also depends on your major.

If you will be transfer-ready at the junior level for your major, your SAT scores and high school record do not matter. Whether you get in depends on your college GPA, campus and major impaction, and whether you are local to the campus.
