no im not disabled. and i just checked and i guess it is really close so ill just walk. never mind. thanks anyways

Getting to hearst from downtown is one thing, going up hearst is another :(

what do you mean "going up" to hearst? like from a different part of campus?

Starting from downtown and going up Hearst is a uphill journey. Most of it is not bad but once you get to Euclid I think (North Gate), the incline gets fairly steep as you're walking up to Etch, Soda, Cory, and Foothill.

I normally take the Perimeter bus to get up Hearst.

If by Downtown Berkeley you mean the BART station, then getting to Hearst isn't too bad (easily walkable). However, Hearst is a street like any other, so getting to Hearst and Euclid or Hearst and Gayley can be quite a trek, since going eastward on Hearst is a very steep climb. Thus, I would recommend walking to the bus stop on Oxford a block south of Hearst. There you can catch the Perimeter (every 12 mins) or the 52L (every 24 mins or so) or the 65 (if you only want to go to Euclid, every 30 mins or so).
