<p>to any current students, what modes of transportation are available back to nyc, what is the cost, and approximately how long does the trip take?</p>

<p>Hi there, im not a current student but ive been to UAlbany twice now from NYC for visits...</p>
<p>Modes of Transportation:</p>
<p>Amtrak - 2.5 Hours One Way , Roughly $45 one way...$90 round trip</p>
<p>Greyhound - 3 hours oneway, $35 one way, $~70 round trip (+Other fees if tickets bought online)</p>
<p>Car - about 3 hours too, pay for gas</p>
<p>Airplane - ~1 hour one way, $200+ for tickets =/</p>
<p>Dragon bus (and another chinatown bus) $25 each way 2 1/2 hr.</p>
<p>are there even flights from Albany to NYC? it wouldn't even be close to an hour though....it's only around 45 minutes from Buffalo to NYC...</p>
