transportation

Hey, i just sent in my deposit the other day and am definitely going there, a little dissapointed though cause it wasn't my first choice, but i guess a lot of people have to deal with that. Does anyone know anything about the transportation? like say if I wanted to go down to san diego every other week, how would i get there, how long would it take, and is it that expensive? Also just any information on the university in general would be nice, i don't really know that much about, i'll be majoring in finance and economics too.

I've heard that there are a lot of people who have cars at Chapman and you can usually get a ride from friends. There's also a bus for the town, the OCTA bus system and Metrolink which can get you to LA and San Diego, the latter which is said to take about 2 hours. I checked the fares for you and it looks like it'd cost from $13.00 to $17.25 roundtrip. It might be more or less though, Im not sure about it.

I posted a long thread here with more information about Chapman as I'm going too for psychology. Hope that helps you :)

Bring a car if you can, or make friends with people who have one. The area of Orange surrounding Chapman is pretty cute, but not that exciting. You'll definitely be wanting to spend some time off-campus.
