Does anybody know how difficult it is for foreign students to get into Masters programs at Trinity in Dublin?

My grades weren't that fantastic - I only have a 3.45 undergrad GPA (although a 3.6 major GPA), I'm a member of an Honor society and I've completed two internships related to my field...am I going to have a really difficult time?

Bump - help please!

You may not get a response because CC is mainly aimed at American UG college admissions.

This is a really late response, but I’ll give you my insight in terms of Trinity Admissions for American students. First of all, let me just preface this by saying that I do not attent Trinity, nor have I applied. My only knowledge about the school stems from staying there for an internship in Dublin and talking to one of my sister’s friends, who is an American studying at Trinity. I definitely wouldn’t call her dumb, but she certainly wasn’t at the top of the class, and I’m not even sure whether she was in the top 10% of her high school class. Needless to say, she was at least in the top 20% of her class. My guess is that she didn’t have really stellar SAT/ACT scores, but that her scores were still better than average. Her one uptick was her AP scores, which were all fours and fives to the best of my knowledge.

So if we are to make a couple of assumptions, her stats looked something like this.

GPA: ~3.7 unweighted
SAT: 1900
APs: US 5, Art History 5, French 4, World History 5, English Language 4 (including senior year APs)
ECs: Nothing stellar; some plays and artsy things

Granted, she was also a full tuition student who wasn’t on any financial aid. If it helps, she didn’t get accepted to Colby College in Maine, but still got into Trinity.

If I were to sum it up, if you can pay the full tuition and you’re decently smart, but not necessarily one of the top students in your high school class, you can probably get in.
