I'm having a really hard time deciding. Hopefully I'll get off the waitlist at Williams but I love all three of these schools as well.

Congrats, 3 great acceptances.

Unless you really want to be part of the Claremont schools, I’d knock Pitzer off. Occidental is quite similar except has a stronger academic reputation.
Between Occidental and Trinity, the choice is a toss up. Occidental has no greek life and is on the West coast. whereas Trinity is on the East coast and is about 20% greek. Most would consider Occidental’s location better (L.A.) than Hartford, but on the other hand, I know I’d consider Trinity’s campus more beatiful (from the pictures I’ve seen, atleast). Also consider Occidental is considered one of the most liberal colleges in America whereas Trinity is considered more balanced, but probably leans liberal. I’d say both are equal in academic reputation.

Just my two cents - by no means am I an expert. I do not attend either (I’m a junior in HS).

Edit - Also visit the schools if you haven’t! It really helps!

With all due respect, I don’t think a hs junior is in a position to comment on the academic strengths of Pitzer. There are many other posts on CC that present a clear case for why Pitzer is an excellent school.
I was just giving my opinion. I never said Pitzer wasn’t great. ;)

Occidental and Pitzer give off the alternative vibe. Trinity is more of a mainstream school.

Between Pitzer and Occidental, I’d probably choose Pitzer because of the access to the Claremont Schools. Pomona, in particular, would be a great place to take advantage of.

BantamBoy, do you enjoy studying in Trinity?
