I got an A- in a course and for some reason its making me angry (partly because the class was an easy A). Someone give me some insight or beat these feelings out of me...

My friend got a C+ first semester in Art and he got a 2250 on the SAT.

what course was it? Did you put in the time and effort even though it was an easy class?

A- is fine, close enough to an A. Significantly better than a B+ psychologically…

I wouldn’t bother thinking about it unless there was no way you could have received just an A- from your work and effort…

Why are you tripping?

Seriously a A- at Berkeley is good.

An A- ruined my Christmas morning.

lol seriously, I felt the same way as you when I got my A-… I was totally expecting an A, and it turned out I was less than 1% from it… so annoying, isn’t it?!

Oh well. Life goes on!

Wow… Sometimes when I read these post, I keep forgetting this is Berkeley, the school of overachievers. Now I see why anything less than perfect bothers you guys. GET OVER IT!!!

@WorkEthic

It really bothered me when you wrote “a A-,” instead of an A-.

What’s worse is if you get A’s and your GPA doesn’t go up as much as you anticipated… like by a few hundredths…

Overall GPA is much more important than that A-…

I know people will be playing the world’s saddest song on the world’s smallest violin for you but I know how it feels…

My bad. I keep forgetting this is the Berkeley section of CC. Got to proof read my comments before submitting because they will be critiqued.

^ I don’t go to Berkeley (yet) and I was thinking the same thing as Ektaylor lol.

This is a very serious corner of the internet, WorkEthic.

I can see that. lol

I got B+s in two classes when I thought I could/would get A/A-s. Suck it up.

amen to the above post. got a B+ in what i heard was supposed to be an extremely easy class that supposedly gave out 50% solid A’s

^waiting4college, what class was that?
