aah! so many choices at usc!

aah! so many choices at usc!

I know! USC has more majors and minors than any other school, I think. It’s amazing. :D

i got deferred from columbia ED (still top choice), accepted to michigan.
also applied to penn, brown, nu, duke, uva, chicago, jhu, rice, cal, and uwashington. (lol it’s a lot of schools but i got my fee waived for 3 of them for AP scores apparently)

econ/business major. usc isn’t my number one choice, but marshall definitely up there if they give me some money.

UNFORTUNATELY, i grew up purple and gold (huskies, not lakers) so i have a little anti-trojan in me. but academics first, right? :D

@Eiffel,

I would love to get an internship at somewhere like NBC Universal or Sony Pictures, but I would also love to intern at an ad agency. I know it’s hard, but it would be so awesome to intern on a late-night show like Conan O’Brien. Maybe it’s possible! How about you?

The amount of minors at USC is overwhelming. There are so many I want! But I plan to double-minor in Communication Design and Comm/Entertainment Industry. I wish I could do Film/TV… is there a such thing as a triple minor?! Hahah… just kidding, I so couldn’t handle that. I also want to minor in Psychology.

NBC and Sony sure would be amazing. I’d love to get an internship at Disney too. Though, to be honest, I’m not very well-versed in the Los Angeles area so I’m not sure what studios are located there or not, but working at any major studio (especially a major TV network) would be ideal.

I think you CAN do a triple minor! If I have the willpower, I’m definitely going to try to do as many minors as I can!

huh I think I could maybe get an internship at Sony–old family friend works there. I definitely want to double major, double minor. Theatre/psych-Musical theatre/Film criticism. Humanities chick much? :D

minor - economics or international relations

I’m applying to Washu (not gonna get in), Stanford (not gonna get in), Northeastern, USC (:D) and I got in to Notre Dame, BC, santa clara, and seattle u. USC is my #1 because it’s my only reach school that seems somewhat reachable.

quick question: when applying to USC, do you apply to certains schools? or is it just the
collge of letters, arts, and science?

^Depends on your major. If you apply to a major in SCA, Thornton, and perhaps a few others, you apply directly to that school (and to that particular major) in addition to the main undergraduate office. But if your major is in CAS, then you only do one application and your major is pretty much irrelevant.

Hey, guys, American Idol starts this Tuesday! :D

Whoa, I can’t believe the show’s come up this fast. I’m going to miss Paula, but I think Ellen will be a fine replacement.

Did anyone join the Class of 2014 Facebook group? It really is a great source.

Paula was funny and endearing sometimes, but other times she got on my nerves. I think it’ll be interesting with Ellen, though. I’m excited to see how it all plays out! :)

So, want to play “The Question Game” to get things moving? I ask a question, the poster below answers and asks a new question for the next poster, and so on. :)

Thank you!

I wrote my personal statements on how being poor has affected my career choice (politics) and on my campaign for ASB president which later resulted in losing and founding the student union. The UCLA admissions lady who read them said they were fantastic, especially the second one more than the first.

USC is tied for UCLA for #1

^^ Eiffel: is that your new question?

Yep, it is, lJmYEA! And welcome, cowman!

Incredibly rude of me not to say hi first :P

I cant wait to get to SC,I live very close. If it wasnt in the hood, I could walk there in 30 minuets

It’s okay! And that’s awesome that you live so close. So, you’ve never visited before? Have you visited UCLA?
