I have been unable to get access to my sons tuition bill ,anyone else having trouble?

We were able to access on Monday, but yesterday and today it is not available. We’re waiting for a scholarship to post that was mailed 2 weeks ago so I’ve been checking frequently. Of course, if it’s not available, we can’t pay!

the site appears to be down. once it’s back up if you don’t look at your “financial statements” but look at your account activity you should see your updated account. Both my daughter’s scholarship money and meal plan updates have shown up in the last week as well as her health insurance credit. The statements are only done once a month so you will not see it there. I had made this mistake in the past. In case that’s where you are looking thought I would mention it. :)

I’ve been trying to pay for two days. So frustrating. Will have to keep trying. Will call before the weekend if I still can’t get in. Going away on business next week and there’s the payment due date…

Yes. The site has been down. I’ve been trying to pay too! I have an incoming freshman. They billed us for a meal plan but we never chose one. Where do we choose the meal plan? Thanks for the info.

Many of the UD sites are down due to “unexpected maintenance”. They don’t indicate when they will be back up. There is a on-line form on the Dining Services site where you can choose/change your dining plan. But it also is down now. I also believe this can be done on the student’s UDSIS site if I remember correctly.

when I asked my daughter about it she said she got a message alert saying it would be down for reprogramming. That was all she knew. I’m sure it will be up in plenty of time for UD to collect our money. Even with the August 1st day approaching it’s not technically “late” until about August 10th.

@tigerm you automatically get billed for the “default” meal plan if you are a freshman. It’s the 10 meals a week. You can change it as many times as you like up to the week school starts. Then you get one “free” change up to the 2nd week of school. (Not sure of the exact dates this year. Last year it was Sept 11) on your UDSIS there is a dining plan change link. For my D the 10 meals was fine but if you have a son that likes to eat you might opt for one with more swipes. They are all about the same price give or take a bit, it just gives you a range of more or less swipes combined with more or less dining dollars.

From Student Financial Services:

“My Finances is currently unavailable as IT works to restore the servers after some unexpected outages. We apologize for any inconvenience in being able to review and pay your account at this time. Please note that as long as payment or your reporting of an additional credit is made by August 8th no late fees will be assessed.”

From Information Technologies:

“Many of the UD computer applications used across campus have been unavailable since the afternoon of Monday, July 22. Beginning that afternoon and evening, IT staff have been working to restore these applications. The project has required us to build a fresh server on new hardware. While the work continues, we will be releasing applications as they are installed and tested on the new server.”

No mention of when financial will be back on line.

According to the calendar, this year the last change date for dining plans is September 10th, the same day as drop/add. This year they automatically put my DS in for the 15 weekly and we changed it to the 19 he had last year. However, we may change it again depending on how it works out for him, last year he was in Russell so it was convenient to go to the dining hall. This year he’ll be in Sharp, closer to his classes but further from all dining halls.

Thank you Lefty1. Wouldn’t it just be easier to just choose a meal plan than being charged for a “default”? Then they have to re-bill for the difference. We were never asked to choose a meal plan.

I was able to pay tuition online tonight, even though I still saw a “system down” type of message when I logged on. Received email receipt so I’m sure it worked.

Was able to pay today, no problem.
