Hello thank you guys for your time. I started my freshman year of college at my local state school and finished my first semester with a 3.2ish gpa. I transferred my second semester to a bigger state school(OSU) away from home because I wanted to get the real college experience. Before I left for college I got charged with a dui which is still in the process for court. I had to come home for court more than a few times, and also came home for a death of a close family friend. This really affected this semesters gpa where I have a b, passed my survey, know I’m gonna fail one class, and maybe another cause depending on the curve. it was hard staying on task with court and possible jail in the back of your mind. I’m meeting with my advisor next week so explain my situation and get help cause you need a 1.8 to maintain federal funding which I don’t think I will get. If I appeal my federal funding and it gets denied can I go back to my university before I transferred here and still get federal funding?
No, I don’t think you will be able to transfer because of your low gpa. It follows you.
