What kinds of stats do you need for these scholarships? Does it help to be URM? Thank you!

These scholarships are extremely competitive at Purdue. Only the top 15% of the incoming class will be offered either of these scholarships. My take is GPA in the range of 3.9 UW and above plus SAT 1450 and above will be competitive.
The GPA’ extra curriculars, SAT/ACT (If avail) etc will be used

Is there a place to look for historic data about these scholarships? I’ve done some research, but haven’t found much. Thanks.

Not much. But looking on these forums the scholarships range from 5k to 25k per year for merit based ones. The amount awarded depends on tiur GPA, SAT/ACT, extra curriculurs, leadership and work

Thanks @HumbleTeen. Wondering about stats - like do you need a 1600/36? I’m sure it’s not cut an dry but wondering if DS is in range.

My D had higher stats than that, was admitted to honors college, but no merit.

Merit is very hard to come by.

I believe it is a more holistic review than just GPA and test scores probably also looking at EC’s, leadership, work and extraordinary achievements like research papers etc
