<p>well i am a bio major and i was wondering if i get into berkeley's cell and molecular program, can i switch my major to environmental biology afterwards? i am not going to declare my major as env. bio b/c that requires that i finish assist (including physics) and just ignore igetc and i will not be able to do that in a year, plus i am already done with igetc. i guess i'm just trying to find a loophole by switching majors. </p>
<p>also, on an unrelated note, is having a lot of ec's really important for admission if you're a bio major. i was told it would help but is not that important if you go to a cc. i have a job (15 hrs/wk), maybe that along with the workload of a bio major should be enough in itself?</p>
