Trying to decide where to transfer

I applied to 15 schools and 7 of them responded so far. I should hear from the rest next month.

So far I've been accepted to SUNY Stony Brook University, Elizabethtown College, Boston University, Hunter College CUNY, and University of Connecticut (Storrs Main Campus)

University of Illinois Urbana Champaign denied me but will reconsider if I take intro to comp sci during the summer.

Florida State University also wants me to take a class for admission but hasn't denied me yet.

Assuming money isn't an object where should I really consider transferring for an Undergraduate Degree in Applied Mathematics and maybe in the future Engineering?

we can’t assume money isn’t an object unless you tell us that your parents have x amount in a college fund for you. This decision is a cost/benefit decision so cost is key.

Well, assuming that money isn’t an object, I would go with BU or SUNY Stony Brook University. Definitely Stony Brook if your instate (sorry, money does factor into these things).

Well I have some money and my father has some money stored away for me and then I’m going to be coming in as a junior so I’ll only have to pay for half the cost of tuition and I don’t currently have any debt. I think i’m safe financially. I do live in New York State but Stony Brook isn’t giving me any financial aid (probably because I waited until 2 weeks ago to submit my application for aid). I’m more concerned if I should pick a school for the name and overall ranking (Boston University) or the ranking specific to my concentrations (Stony Brook).

Stony Brook Engineering is well known to engineering employers in the Northeast. You’ll also receive a better engineering education there.
