trying to figure it out --- advice

so i am trying to figure out my major stuff and i am actually just transferring schools which wont help too much --- at my old school i was poli sci/ business double major and bio chem minor. I did really well but just too much work - i had a 3.92 after frosh year.

well now i am transferring to Umich and i cannot do business b/c i can't transfer in for another year, and bio chem is redic there... not gonna let my gpa take that hit

so i am switching to economics and maybe keeping poli-sci but the thing is... what can i do with poli sci - i want to go to law school really bad - and get an MBA - do corporate law... but a lot of law students get poli sci degrees. i jsut don't want to be lost in the sea of big fishes.

advice??

and by i cannot transfer in - i mean that you cannot transfer into the business school at Umich - they accept maybe 200 frosh each year into it and maybe 100 or so non frosh - i think - too much work to just try and it would set me back a year of school - just not worth it.

I would take the econ major, statistically speaking econ majors do really well on the LSATs. It also will give you a good understanding of economics which is important in coporate law. I don't understand the polisci trend, but I agree it is over-played. I don't undetstand exactly why business is out of the question at this point unless you are a junior right now, especially for a minor. Law schools love philosophy majors, that could be an option.
