I’m a rising senior, very interested in schools that are strong in English and/or History and have a strong extra curricular theater program. I’m president of the Debate team, co-president of the Thespians Society, and member of the Playwriting Group and Model UN. I go to a very selective public high school in NY that doesn’t rank students.

Depending on your financial situation/preferences, for a public university, try Binghamton (though many, perhaps all, of the above colleges offer excellent need-based financial aid), for a women’s college, try Mt. Holyoke.
You look like a very strong candidate. If you are looking for merit aid, Gettysburg and Dickinson should be on your list. Both have some unique resources and would be thrilled to have a student of your caliber. Otherwise, that’s a good list to start with.
