My younger daughter applied for Fall 2023 UMSI. Elder one in UMSI program. Anyone out there for 2023?
What are stats for your d? One that got in and the one that’s applying
I just found this website.
My son is applying to TTech and few others bs/md for Fall 2023. I have no idea for his reason. he has no medical background. 1300 SAT and lots of B and C first 2 years of his high school due to Covid and few deaths in family.

Stats as follows:
One who got in 2020:
SAT: 1510, ACT: 33, Hospital Volunteering, Pharmacy Technician Trainee
2023 Applicant: SAT: 1530, Hospital Volunteering, Research every summer, National Wins: 4

Those are impressive stats. Good luck to your younger one for this year. How does your older one like the program? I am assuming she loves it and so your younger one is going for it. Do you see more pros than listed on website?

Thank you. Elder one likes the program as there is no stress for MCAT & maintain GPA. If the student has a certain SAT score they get Presidential Scholarship and ends up paying very minimal tuition. She will be early graduating and will have to take a gap year. Her friends who is going the conventional route will have to. do it in 4 years, take MCAT and has to maintain GPA and do research/volunteering over the summer.

Yes my D did. She has a competitive SAT so hoping for the best. My D is pharmacy tech trainee also just like your older one. Did your daughter take Casper?

Did your older daughter have any research experience on her application when applying I feel like my application is pretty weak without research and an average SAT score.
Do you think my D’s stats might be too low 1420(1460 superscore) 31 ACT
Sorry for delay in responses I did not login to avoid stress. MY elder daughter had research experience. Do you have lot of hospital volunteering?
31 ACT is not the bad. But I know in my elder daughters batch there are students who don’t have too high SAT/ACT but got in waitlist.
I have over 80 but at the time l only had 40 and they aren’t letting me update.
My daughter submitted one letter today with all the updates after application was submitted.
I did that, and they emailed me back, saying they could not accpect it. I also put an updated resume on the application documents tab. What did they say when your daughter submitted an update?
Any update on UMSI ? Hope they will send out interview notification soon?
Portal will take it. My daughter just added to the portal. Did you try calling them?
I know its kind of close to shortlisting the interviews.
