Read a post on Connecticut College site that mentioned same question. Thatās all Iāve ever heard.
Son was rejected. He has a 3.9 unweighted GPA, is president of a club, is a varsity athlete in one sport, and works as a waiter in a local restaurant. Oh yeah, and Iām an alum. Objectively, I knew that getting into Tufts is an uphill climb and a craps shoot, at best. More than 90% of students who applied will be rejected. Subjectively, Iām a bit annoyed at my alma matter. I think I will withhold my donation this year.

I completely hear you! I did that when my son didnāt get into my alma mater. Colleges are for-profit not-for-profits anyway. A broken system all around. Good luck!
