Weaknesses: no hooks, white girl @ private school
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: I think I had a pretty well-rounded, strong application. I put tons of time into my supplements, interviewed and went to admissions events, and had good EC’s and good scores.
Where else were you accepted/deferred/rejected: Deferred ED from Brown, accepted EA to University of San Francisco
General Comments: It all worked out in the end!!! In hindsight, I wish I hadn’t spent so much time stressing/prepping over test scores - it was definitely time that could have been better spent doing something else that I actually enjoyed. I was deferred from an Ivy but decided not to wait around until April as I also loved Tufts. Now I couldn’t be happier going somewhere that’s not preceded by its reputation as part of a special athletic conference, in an awesome city, has one of the best IR programs, and a great student body. Go Jumbos!!!
