I also got the scholarship. I think that the $3500 stipend can be used for a variety of things, based on email conversations I’ve had- studying abroad, conducting lab research, paying for room&board on an unpaid internship, etc. Are you going to Jumbo Days on April 24? I’m a math major, so I’m thinking it would be really cool to go to the 2018 International Congress of Mathematicians in Rio de Janeiro, where they present the Fields Medal (the Nobel Prize of mathematics). But that’s just one thing that you could do with the money, I would guess.
Joseph Neubauer is a Tufts Engineering Alumni, University of Chicago Business School Alumni, and former CEO of Aramark. He is very active in the citizenship arena and has created scholarships at both of his alma maters. His life story is both interesting and inspiring.

It’s the most prestigious scholarship from Tufts. The only one that’s not FA-related .
