whew! aww : ) thanks girlygirl!! that saved me from alot of fretting!

any news today , guys?

You know something wierd, even though I got no real reason to come to CC anymore, I'm just as eager to see who else gets in to Tufts.

nope none.. is anybody else able to click on the "Your decision will be..." link on TAMS yet, other than don and vlam?

nope, but i check everyday. i'm so paranoid and for some reason i tell myself that if i can click it (even if it leads me nowhere), i have a better chance of getting in

but i really have no basis for thinking that...just generally going crazy...u knooo

who all has tufts as their first choice?

tufts is my number one

Same here!

meee tooooooo

Yep. I'm going there/

does anyone know when they will be done reviewing the apps?

may 5. adding characters...

i really cant decide what's my first choice...im trying not to put my hopes up into anything before letters come. I hope we all get in though, that would be fantastic...

although my decision online is not available, which makes me nervous too.

red 92, where else have you applied?

BROWN and TUFTS and BC!!

have you heard from brown or bc yet?

nooo, it really sucks because I don't even have a fall-back school you know? And I think I'll be hearing from them all at the same time...around mid-mayish. I have no idea which one I'd rather choose though.

do you have any other options?

But I guess the more I think about it, the more NYU is starting to grow on me...I have such a love-hate relationship with it.

well in any case, let's cross our fingers!

brown and bc? damn, those seem awfully different. can i ask you what drew you to both?

red, the only other school I have applied to is BU and I have been accepted so if Tufts doesn't work out I'll most likely be at BU in the fall

umm hmm, let's see...why I chose both Brown and BC...

well I didn't really choose them both for the same reasons but here's just to name a few:

BC: good, medium size school. I like how it's in a suburb right outside of Boston. I like the people. I like the school spirit. It has a pretty good humanities department but for me, its draw isn't really in the academics but the overall atmosphere and experience...and since I do have plans on going to grad school, the social environment is something I'm not willing to sacrifice.

Brown: I also like the smallish to medium size of the population. I like its emphasis on the undergrad. I also feel that this school is incredibly strong in the humanities department. I also like the open curriculum as I am thinking about taking some accounting classes or just random i-like-these classes throughout my career. I also like it's location in Providence and subsequently its proximity to Boston. Basically, I love New England so...that's that. And I also like the social environment there as well...I feel like you have alot of options and diversity within the student body.

yeah, I guess in some ways, they're more different than alike but I think they've both got alot of good things going for them...and i see tufts as sort of the happy medium. I still don't have a #1 but i guess it's just that I don't wanna jinx anything--silly, I know.

so now im just waiting to see where the wind blows....

ahhh good luck everyone : )
