Tufts vs. Emory

I was wondering if anyone could share their opinion and list the pros and cons of either or both school. Both schools are equally far away from where I live so distance is not a factor. Money is not an issue in terms of tuition. I am interested in physics and history but I have not decided on a major (ultimately my goal is lawschool).

Visit the Tufts board and you can view some of the information there that I've posted.

In general Tufts gives the heart of Boston as a great college town with great food. The academics are strong, and there's always plenty to do on and off campus. The disadvantage? It's rather cold in the winter.

I also heard that Tufts is VERY, VERY academically rigorous. Like University of Chicago rigorous. So, if you go there, get ready to work.

Both schools are very similar in terms of the kinds of students attending. the difference between the two schools are then location is their attitude. Both schools have renowed faculty and both are academically great. Tufts is suppose to a more relaxed attitude towards academics so that its not cut throat competition. At both tufts and emory people are hard working and have a heavy course load but emory is suppose to have more. Emory is a little bit more interested in research and tufts is primarily focused on undergrades and TAs only teach labs and study groups not the classes. Tufts makes it a priority to get involved with students. Both schools are suppose to have alot of preppy people.
Congratulations on getting accepted into both schools. both are excellent schools.
