Thanks for the link.
Anyone know if the rate increases when taking more than 15 credit hours/semester?

it’s all the same, 7 hours to 21 or whatever the max is.

I almost choked when I read this in the paper last week. My major doesn’t require me to take any more 15 hours semesters for the rest of my collegiate career…now I’m grandfathered under the fixed for four so this won’t pertain to me until a year from now when my 4 years runs out…but I think this is stupid. As an out of state student, it was almost easy for me to choose Tech, knowing that I was only gonna have to pay 10k a semester, every semester for 4 years. This seems like it would just discourage OOS students from coming here rather than people taking more hours to graduate.

And it already seems like everyone here takes 14-17 hours anyway.

Thanks- I thought so.

Students were taking 14-17, but paying for 12. Something had to give, budget-wise, so they decided to have people pay for the hours they are taking (and give them incentive to take enough hours to get through in 4).

Got a revised award letter yesterday.
Hope is covering the increase to tuition for in-state.
