Anyone know when tuition bills are available online?

One Start says they will be generated mid-August and due Sept. 10th. Seems that is one month later than usual because the Indiana State budget was delayed.

Thanks Tulare, I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something, not that I am looking forward to the bill. I will continue to have my daughter check One Start. Only 20 more days until Kelley LLC move in!

Has your daughter received the Kelley LLC packet yet? Mine hasn’t, but she said it’s supposed to arrive this week. I’m assuming parents will be politely dismissed after the picnic on Aug. 24th and they’ll do the evening and Aug. 25th activities alone. I’m already anticipating a rather sad evening in my hotel room alone on August 24th (flying out mid-day on the 25th), but it will be so exciting to get them all moved in and ready to start this new adventure. See you there soon!

My son’s account in Onestart has the “you owe” total. No due date yet, though.

Ahh I asked for it and now I have it. Now the difficult part, paying it.

Tulare, My d has not received her packet yet either.

DD has a total for fees and tuition but housing and meal plan are not on it. A credit for scholarships also isn’t on there. Well, it’s a start.

I have same issue as rrah,no housing or meal plan expense or credit for scholarship and loans, I guess this is just a preliminary bill.

Just got the LLC packet today! Looks like there are lots of fun things planned for them - plus all you LLC parents, (and students) there is a barbecue for us on Monday, move in day so I will see you all there.

My name is Maria and I have short brown hair, so please say hi!

The first bill has was posted today, due Sept. 10th. Looks like everything is there, including the credits for scholarships. The first of 8 bills. Seems like a milestone.

Yes, I see they added the scholarship credit in the itemized statement, but when we went to pay the bill, the amount we owe without the scholarship shows up. However you can change that figure, I wonder if I should just take off the scholarship and pay the bill that way.

Yes, just deduct it off. What will happen is that approximately one day after your bill is due, they will apply the scholarship amount, and it will show up on the next monthly statement. Why they don’t apply it immediately, I don’t know. I guess it probably has to do wih finalizing the scholarship amounts (which may have to do with knowing who is actually enrolling at the university–as evidenced by the tuition and fees being paid.)

One year of Out-of-state IUB Tuition and Fees: $27,550 (not including any scholarships)
One school year of housing/apartment costs: $6,600
One school year of books/meals: $6,200
Transportation to/from school and back (summer and Xmas): $1,000

Graduating from Indiana University at Bloomington (hopefully by next May): priceless

^^^ calcruzer, just one more year! Are you seeing the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel yet?

Yes, it’ been a good experience all around.

As a parent, I’ve learned a bit about boundaries–and my son has learned a bit about responsibility. Strangely enough, I think we are closer as a father and son now even though he spends nine months each year away from home. We enjoy our time together during the summer more than ever.

Knowing that he’ll be wrapping up this part of his life experience makes it easier to send him away this time. Both he and I are looking forward to him graduating next year.

–Best of success to all those students heading off to IU-B. Let’s hope they all have a great college year.
