Tuition Costs

This might be an idiotic question, but if taking 7 units or more you still pay the same amount? Right?

I'm a transfer student and would ideally like to finish as quickly as possible. I know upper division courses are harder, so taking 18 units would be rough but doable. From what I've read you are limited to 13 units then can sign up for more after a certain date - something along those lines. I will likely be taking courses in my major so there should be classes still available for me to take - just wondering if I will be paying the same amount for 12 units as I would for 18 units.

Yup. Over a certain amount, you have to pay extra. I believe it is over 18 units.

Im also a transfer student. Congrats on your admission! :)

Nice! I figured it would be one flat rate, just wasn’t sure, I was going to take some summer courses through the CCPE but its $300 a unit is a bit too much. 6 units is $1800. To me it makes more sense, financially, to take 18 units during the semester and pay $3200.
