I am eligible for the Tuition Exchange Program, which would cover all or most of my tuition for college. The sheer number of schools on the list is overwhelming, and I could use some help narrowing it down to the better schools.
Here is the link-http://www.tuitionexchange.org
Our family is also eligible for the TE program and have been researching the schools on the list for our D17. We are still new at this college search thing, but may be able to help you a bit.
There are a number of good posts here if you search for Tuition Exchange. I’d link them but am not sure how to do that yet
Some of the better known might be: USC, Elon, Fordham, Boston University, Bucknell, Syracuse, Villanova, University of Pittsburgh, but some of these are particularly competitive for the scholarships.
Are you looking to attend in any particular part of the country? Any majors in mind? School size preference?
American, university of Richmond, university of Florida, George Washington, Lafayette, case western, Tulane and USC are all great schools on TE.
Please note however that the “better” schools are usually more competitive for TE (except for Syracuse which gives it to almost everyone) and these schools usually give the minimum- which this year is $34,000- pretty great but for most of these schools not nearly all tuition PLUS you’ll still be looking at about $10,000 to $15,000 for room and board.
What’s your major, ACT score, and desired location, style of school? Also, which ones are commuting-distance?
In order, business, 31, East coast, dont care, and I live in Philadelphia.
