Tuition increase for 2019-2020

We received the scholarship and financial aid package in the mail yesterday, and it looks like out-of-state tuition for the 2019 freshman class will be around $37,000, which is about a $2,000 increase from last year.

At least it’s a real nice perk that they lock tuition for all 4 years there.

My son received his packet. We are OOS. 2019-2020 notice.

Estimated Cost of Attendance:
Tuition and Fees $37,032
Housing and Meals $14,060
Total Estimated Costs: $51,093

The total estimated cost of attendance is $55,804. This includes $4,712 of non billed expenses, such as books, supplies, transportation and miscellaneous living expenses. Additional course fees may be included in above tuition and fee amount. Please visit MiamiOh.edu/Fees for additional details.

I didn’t not include his scholarship off list price above.

@gopher119 Do different schools/majors have different costs? Our daughter was accepted to the college of arts & sciences as a speech pathologist major.
Our packet says 2019-20:
Tuition & Fees 35572
Housing & Meals 14060
Total 49632
Indirect Expenses 4712

That 14060 will probably be a little low as it says it’s some sort of average for housing and meal options, but as almost all of the dorms have now been renovated, you’ll most likely be paying the higher amount for a renovated dorm.

I believe Farmer might have an up charge for the Business School.

This past weekend, my son made his college selection

He will be attending Indiana University, Kelley School of Business.

Wishing you all the best in your college search.

Farmer and Kelley were among the top choices for my son as well, but he went with Fisher. Can’t go wrong with any of those 3 in my opinion.
