Tulane ACT question

my ACT scores are 600 points below my SAT scores. my mom had score choice from the ACT and sent them to tulane. i only want them to see my SAT scores. can i tell them to take the ACTS off of my file?

Why was your mom doing this at all? Anyway, once something is in your file there really is no deleting it, but they will use the better scores in making the decision. So don’t worry.

I have no idea. she really wants me to go to tulane so she automatically sent the scores to them. it was my fault however that this happened. i just dont want them to consider the scores so i want them deleted

Well, I like her taste in schools, lol. Just let it go, they will look at your best scores. They know people have bad days, are sick on the day of testing, any number of reasons a score might be off. You should be fine. It would be worse to sound like you are making excuses or to bring more attention to it.

I would not worry about it.

A bad score won’t negate a good score. I’ve heard that many people do a bit better on the SAT or ACT, when compared to the other. (I always felt the ACT was more about how quickly you can interpret things, whereas the SAT was more based on knowing information before you arrive at the test.)

2nd what FC said - they will only look at the one that is the best.
