Tulane RD Thread Class of 2022

Hey everyone!
I noticed that there has not been a thread made for RD applicants! Tulane is one of my top choices after I was deferred from Georgetown and UMich! i applied to the school of Science and Engineering!!

what are your stats like?
-RD applicant to tulane and Umich

I submitted my application just on Dec.30th, and I have been accepted in Tulane’s RD round today!!! Although with the Tulane Advantage Program

@joiwjefoiqe what are your stats like? and what is the advantage program?!

I have got TOEFL107 and ACT30.

In the message it says “As a student admitted through the Tulane Advantage Program, your admission is contingent upon a five-week intensive academic training program on our campus before the fall semester begins. This program will ensure that you are prepared to succeed inside and outside the Tulane classroom.”
I believe this is because my T-speaking and A-reading scores are bit low.

@joiwjefoiqe how did u already here back for RD though?!

@joiwjefoiqe What is your native language? Where are you from?

That five week program is $7,344 for tuition and housing…ouch!

I am from a Chinese IB school and I am also surprised at why the results came so soon

I also applied through RD and was admitted through the advantage the program:)

I applied RD but haven’t heard back yet, I’m pretty nervous!

I’m very nervous too, applied EA but deferred to RD. Doing my best to show interest because Tulane really is my #1 but I can’t visit.

what are all of your stats like?

I have a 3.85 uw gpa and 32 act

Anyone hear back yet?

^wondering the same thing

when are we supposed to hear back?

Regular decision applicants will hear back by April 1 at the latest!

Waiting to hear back is a very anxiety-inducing experience.

What other schools are you guys applying to?
