Tuscaloosa Bakeries

D’s birthday is next month and this year I’d like to order her cake from a local bakery. I’d rather not do the usual Publix or Bama dining cake.

I did a google search and saw a place called Celebrations Bakery on McFarland which looks promising, and I’m dying to visit Edelweiss German Bakery on 4th street to get a chocolate croissant - though they don’t seem to sell whole cakes.

Any experience with either of these or other real-deal Tuscaloosa bakeries?

Maybe cupcakes from Gigi’s?

Thanks for asking this Timeflew! D’s birthday is later this week. Does anyone know offhand if any of those bakeries deliver to the dorms?
