Does anyone else like this book?
What do you think of the movie coming out in December, especially the cast members chosen?

I kept hearing about this book so I read it during Spring Break. I'm now on book 3 "Eclipse". At first I did not like Robert Pattinson playing Edward, but now I think he will do a good job. The girl who plays Alice looks the most accurate I feel.

I read it and couldn't understand the hype over it. The writing is mediocre at best, I got bored three pages in and have been using it as a drink coaster.

I felt like she was trying, very hard, to mimic Amelia Atwater-Rhodes...who's writing prowess (in my unholy opinion) has declined over the years. Or maybe I've just become more critical...

It was entertaining to me. But I can totally understand if anyone is critical about the hype and her writing style. I'm an English major and this is the first book I read for fun in a long time.

yea teh writing style sucks but its an easy read and a good storyline. its basically a chickflick in a book. definitely nice as a break from some of the harder books that we read in school and just after all those ap tests and stuff. I'm on eclipse right now :)

I know alot of people who are SOOOOO into it, it's kinda ridiculous. My friends that I trust to tell me the truth and not be all "OMG ITS SOOOOO AWESOMMMMME" about it (my lit friends, fandom friends, etc) absolutely hated it. I trust their judgment more than some random jane. I'll probably go see the movie though, because Robert Pattinson is a sexy sexy man.
