I don't understand why people could go so crazy for such a movie. I read the book, it was terrible. I saw the movie, it was ... just sad. The storyline is cliched, shallow and boring, not to mention the acting. And people go nuts for it. Wth?

The trailer came on TV just as I saw this title, lol.

I can’t stand these books/movies, and sadly, I’m the only one of my friends who doesn’t love them. Edward is a complete jerk, I don’t see how he’s the “perfect boyfriend” at all. Not to mention the huge plot holes, flawless characters, and ridiculous story lines.

As for the movie, I actually burst out laughing when Edward said, “This is the skin of a killer,” and started sparkling. I was not popular with the giggling 40 year old mothers in the theater…

Is it really? I need to call my friends(lol).

I admit that I’ve read all of the books. They definitely aren’t my favorite(by no means), but since my friends are obsessed(I mean going to the premier at 12 am on a school night obsessed), I might as well go. I have to admit when he told her that she was his life I almost started laughing haha

I’m also another anti-Twilight person and I get way too much hate for that in a school that is saturated with obsessed teenage girls (and apparently as of this morning, guys too), but whatever I’m entitled to my own opinion. At least, I have a legit reason for not liking the series because in fact, I did read, albeit barely a quarter, of the first book and clearly didn’t see all the hype about it.

I guess if people (cough my friends) weren’t as obsessed with the series (or better yetjust Edward + Jacob), I probably wouldn’t be such an anti-Twilight person. But the people in my school are freaky and go a little too overboard.

And get this, my friend tried convincing me last year to fall in love w/ Edward (???) . She sits there during every lunch period sharing all these lovely descriptions of his looks and what not. This only contributed to my already growing dislike for the series.

Truthfully, I could go on and on about this topic, but hey, tomorrow’s AP Bio Quiz > Twilight…

man, when i saw the preview in the movie theater and saw some guy turn into a wolf, that instantly reminds me of Legend of Zelda…and then I realized … it was New Moon. Damn it.

xx! You changed your location! Well, the first book is poorly written, I agree. I’m still going to see it with my friends though. Maybe it will be humorous.

Lol…my last year’s English teacher came up to my locker this morning and told me to go see the movie when it comes out. I was just like, “WHAT!?” considering that he clearly knows that I’m not the biggest fan of the books. Apparently, he just wants me to see the movie for laughs lol…

A bunch of my friends are going as well …I’m probably gonna end up seeing 2012

It is funny though! Definitely see it for humor:> I know that’s why I’m going(and to go for my friends).

EVERYONE at my school is talking about New Moon. Even the people who can’t read.

running: I want to see 2012 too. Apparently it’s by the same director who did The Day After Tomorrow.

I’m so happy we’re not twilightatized over here just yet.

Haha, I’m glad that there are quite a few people on CC who don’t like twilight too.

Have you guys seen any twilight parodies on youtube or read any? There was one called twinight on fanfiction, I think.

^^^Is it really? I heard 2012 was over the top though:/

Yes, they are selling clothes at the mall for it haha

^The whole class of 2012 in my school went to see the movie lol. It was actually pretty good especially the visual effects and cinematography, but I thought the storyline was somewhat weak. Definitely worth your money, I’d say.

Unfortunately, I had issues with the two people sitting next to me - I swear, they commented on like every scene and they were so loud. I consider myself a pretty patient person, but I was fed up with them and tempted to kick one of them.

That was the movie you recently saw? I didn’t think it was out yet. Did you like it? LOL at you about to kick one of them haha

Yup, saw it last Friday (and had Taco Bell!! :D). I thought it was worth watching and entertaining, although it is highly unrealistic and improbable for something like that to happen. I wasn’t crazy about the acting, though.

^^^ I saw 2012 with my bf, and it was honestly one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire movie. I’m not a diehard twilight fan, but I have to admit, it’s pretty entertaining!!

^^Sounds good:) I’ll have to see it then haha

Hum… what about paranormal activities? has anyone seen that?

No, I heard it was good though. Would you recommend it?

Weird, people at my school said it was a waste of money :/
