Northwestern is the only school that my twin sister and I (seniors) are both interested in applying to. It's her first choice and I really like it but it falls below a few other schools for me. I wouldn't apply if I thought it would hurt her chances whatsoever, does anyone know if that would be the case (she would apply for Comm and I would be in A&S or SESP)? Also, is there any significance to the question on the Northwestern supplement that asks if you have a sibling applying and, if so, it is a twin? I haven't seen that on ANY of the other supplements I've looked at, and I've seen quite a few. Any input is much appreciated!

I doubt that it would hurt, but your best bet is to identify the regional admissions officer for your area, and ask him/her. Forging a relationship with that admissions person is always a good idea in any event.

I know of at least one set of twins here.
