Twins- help

My question is- does anybody know the acceptance rate of twins into the Ivy League. My sister and I both have high G.P.A.'s 4.78 uw 4.0w and are both taking the hardest courses at our school. I got a 740,720, 710 on sat and she scored about 30 points less overall. We both run three varsity sports and co-captained them this year. We both did volunteer and Research work at Fox Chase Cancer Center and have been vet technicians for the past 4 years. I'd like to know what our chance of acceptance is.
Also, do twins get into the same college, if they both have almost the exact same stats and EC's. We pretty wrote about the same things too.

oh, and I loooooooooooooovvvvvveeeeeeee. Princeton. I wanna get in so bad.

I don't know who would keep stats on that, - but perhaps people have anecdotal infomation...Twins from our area were accepted into Dartmouth last year. Good Luck.

why didnt you apply ED?

I know twins who both got accepted into Brown PLME this year

Twins from my school got into Yale, but then again, they had superb scores and tons of ECs and sports.

oh, and I loooooooooooooovvvvvveeeeeeee. Princeton. I wanna get in so bad.

So much for eloquence. J/k O:]

eloquent is my middle name

From my experience, I've found that if one twin is accepted, the other is almost automatically as well.

the only time ive heard of one twin getting accepted and not the other is when they don't apply at the same time. as long you apply together (either both EA/ED or both RD) your chances are good with those stats.

WOW! Thats the same exact question I've been wondering. I'm a twin as well and we both participate in the pretty much the same activities and volunteer work but we made sure our essays were different to show that we have different interests. Do you guys plan on majoring in the same field?

I'm pretty sure there is at least one pair of twins at Princeton.

Ya, same field
