Two AP science periods?

If your school's AP science program requires you to take two periods of it (for example AP Bio and AP Bio Lab), with separate grades for each period, does that count as two grades or does the Lab grade not count toward your GPA?

For UCs specifically.

bumpbumpbump

Depends on how the school says it is. Look in your course guidebook for more information as it should have the # of credits/class taken.
I can tell you that my Chemistry class was 2 credits and included a lab.

I believe I received separate credit for both classes. One is called AP Biology the other is called AP Biology lab. Credit for both classes and separate grades. Do they both count as AP grades?

Counselor showed me website for UCs that had a list of acceptable classes and only AP Biology was shown, no lab class.

No. I have the same thing at my school. It counts as a normal class.

Does it count as a 4 if I got an A then?

My counselors say the class does not even count.

It counts as a 4, yes.
