A weird week it has been. A commuter from my year died in his home in Vallaha, NY. There are suspicions going around but I don't like to speculate. And another student was found dead this past monday in his dorm room. It was the last day of finals with commencement being this upcoming Saturday. I don't know the first individual though it sadden me to hear the news of his death. The second individual I knew because I worked with him for a month. He was the last person I would have expected, than again you don't really expect any college student to die at such a young age. I saw him last, I think, Friday as he was grabbing a smoke outside the dorm and I walked into the grill. I, along with other people at work, joked around about his hand mannerisms, but all in good fun. They won't say what caused it but if it was suicide it would make me feel worse. Anyone at the brink can be set off by even the smallest things like that. He had a younger brother who is a freshman who goes to the school and his father as well works there as an electrician at Lincoln Center. So close to finishing the semester and so young, and yet the road has ended for these guys in the blink of an eye it seems. My prayers go out to the families.

mine too. I hope they rest in peace.
