Two Easiest To Self Study For Summer

Have to take 2 for college in October. What are the two easiest to self study or is it personal opinion. I took Calc AB and Euro AP exams this week for an inlinking in to my world

World History and Biology.

Biology and Math IIC

Definitely Math Level 2.

Literature can be self-studied in a short amount of time, if you're into that sort of thing.

I concur with Math IIC and World History.

it depends on the person i think

why doesnt anyone take math I, its simple math

id say math II and world history,

Why is Math II easy to study??

what?? Math II? I havent taken any, but wouldnt biology be the easiest to self study, isnt it just memorization. With math, its applications, which is harder

you don't need any studying at all for Lit if you're good at reading comprehension (the stuff on the actual SAT)

i wouldn't know about any others, except don't do Chemistry.

Why would you guys say World History and Biology? I think I may study Biology E over the summer because I heard that E was an easier self study (for the last 20 questions) than M and that Bio was the easiest self study because it was all facts that can be read from a prep book and the scale is easy....is all this valid....can someone post an apporximate curve? thanks.

curve is bad... thats all i know. Its one of the hardest. But there shouldnt be too many hard questions right?

the bio curve must be pretty bad
i took it freshman year and my 740 was like 93rd percentile
compared to my 750 chem last year which was 83rd percentile
big difference

Well, if the college allows it, take MATH I and MATH II. Otherwise, I would say study for MATH II and Physics. There is a lot of content for physics, but the questions aren't very hard. Plus, the curve is awesome.

Yea, persoanlly i am going to do MAth II, Literature, and Physics...

I found the physics curve and it is very very nice, especially for only 75 question you can make a lot of mistakes and still get an 800 but if ihavent taken a physics class will reading through a prep book, doing all the practice tests, and analyzing them be ok?? maybe 2 prep books? Please let me know because I am no longer taking lit and all i have is Math I and II and id like to look a bit more rounded.....thanks

If you are serious about your preparation, you will have no problem learning enough physics to get a 750+ I suggest using princeton review because their book covers everything you need to know and nothing extraneous like barrons. I had a physics class before I took the test, but our class was a joke. We really only did mechanics, which comprises the easiest part of the subject test. I learned the rest of the material in two weeks. I got a 750, but could have done better if I spent more time on the material.

BIOLOGY- I was in a CP bio course and studied as a freshman self study and scored almost 700.

Physics. I can attest to personal experience. I had not a single shred of knowledge in this wonderful science until the end of june. By the time October rolled around, I left only 2 blank on the SAT II en route to an 800.

Bio is a big mistake to self-study. I would say 1 in 50 kids is capable of self studying it to an effective state that wants to. The curve is simply too harsh bc everyone knows about it. Take Math IIC, if you are applying to a school that needs SAT IIs you better have the ability to do well on that test. Take Lit if you're into it, the curve is kinder harsh. If not, take Physics, it is not that hard. Most kids teachers don't teach them the principles and teach them the application of these. My teacher was amazing and I got a raw score of 72. The curve is amazing...like 16 wrong for 800 er 16 off raw score. Learn the principals and that's the easiest 800 for subjects that you can effectively study for.

700 on bio is NOT a good score, that is like 62/80 on the raw score. 800 is 76/80 dont think colleges don't know this. For your 700 there are thousands of kids 750 to 800, it is too popular.
