<p>Hi, I already emailed the admissions office, but an automatic reply stated they were flushed out with many emails from the Thanksgiving break.</p>
<p>What type of writing sample do I send in with my application?
Should I only select it from my English class? The majority of the writing assignments are dry objective essays/biographies.</p>
<p>Who should I ask for my school official recommendation?
Principal:
I do not know the high school principal as well as I had known the middle school one. He does not know me personally, and the only time I had privately spoken a length conversation was about a Student Government proposal.</p>
<p>College Counselor:
I do not know her as well either. She is also the drama club teacher, but the next production begins in March :(. and plus she is my COLLEGE counselor.</p>
<p>The reason why I am hesitant is because I don't know how they would react to the rec. It probably feels like I am requesting to depart the school.</p>
