Two years at CC?

I was thinking about doing two years at my community college and then transferring to a four year college like GMU since it’s close to where I live, and then finishing up at VaTech, does this sound like a good plan? I want to save as much money as possible, but I don’t want it to affect how long it takes me to get my DVM

Absolutely I started college planning on vet school because my dad is a vet and he pushed me to follow in his footsteps. I decided to go a different route(law school) but there are absolutely benefits to cc(primarily it gives potential to keep a better GPA in your major after you transfer because you get the courses that are lower from adjusting to college out of the way at the cc that do not show up on the next universitys record). For the record, I have assisted in hiring for his practice and can reassure you employers won’t hold cc against you and also have many friends that used that route then transferred that were accepted into leading veterinary school programs.
