How often do undergraduates have class? At what times? Is there graded homework? Large class rooms? What is the typical day for a student at Madison like??

Really depends. What is your major, where are you living, etc.

Usually I have 2-3 classes a day. I try to avoid 8ams and after 2pm. Intros are large, upper levels are not.

If you want smaller sections take the ones that are early or late. I liked early because it got the day started quickly and I was usually done by 1 and could have a nice afternoon either reading or just chilling at the Union. If I studied from 2-5 I usually had the evening free.

Often times there actually isn't graded homework, but I'd say that most do have some. Exams are certainly the biggest concern.

Typical days often consist of a couple 15 minute walks to and from class, but if you live off campus, you may decide to just stay at your favorite building for a few hours, instead of going home between classes.

Most of my classes are in the afternoon, so I sleep till about 9:30, I'm up late at night, and most of my studying gets done between 9 pm and bedtime.

Typical days consists of going sometimes to class and studying a little and then drinking.
