TYPO!!! Am I screwed?

I applied for Stanford SCEA

And I made mistakes in application form

such as

AP Macroeconomics-AP Macroecomics

and some letters that should be captitalized such as titles of my awards

were not captitalized.

Is is okay? or am I screwed?

Will adcom reject me because of this?

Short answer: no.

Long answer: It's unlikely to affect much unless you're an absolutely borderline applicant.

So short answer again: no.

I am torn between writing, "Of course you're screwed. No admissions officer has EVER made a mistake of any kind, and they are totally merciless," and writing the truth, "relax, you're not the first and only student to make a mistake like this -- if everything else is good, you'll be fine."

I'm thinking that flying valium-spraying helicopters over high schools this time of year might be a good idea...

WashDad,

I really like the imagery you invoke there.

"I am torn between writing, "Of course you're screwed. No admissions officer has EVER made a mistake of any kind, and they are totally merciless," and writing the truth, "relax, you're not the first and only student to make a mistake like this -- if everything else is good, you'll be fine."

I'm always tempted, too, to reply to such posts by saying, "Abandon all hope."

NSMom,

I did that once. No joke. I got a frenzy of worried PMs in return.

ahahha hilarious
