So I already applied to all of my schools and sent everything in. I misspelled "remediate" as "remedate" and "francis" francisi"...what should I do? They are the only typos on my whole application. My short answer and personal statement don't have any mistakes. I spellchecked and it was not caught (still trying to figure out how that is possible) had five people look it over, including my uncle who is a professional resume reader..no one caught it.

what should I do?

trips

If I were a betting man, I would place a bet with any student that I could find one or more typos, misspellings, grammatical errors in their application. As a matter of fact, I would probably bet that I could find at least one more in yours.

For example – thee are errors in the last sentence of the first paragraph of this post. There probably should be a period after the peren, and add the word “I” to begin the next sentence.

I don’t say this go get you down, to be pedantic or to make you worry, rather the opposite the couple of typos you found aren’t uncommon in college apps. Obviously, they should be avoided if possible, but in this case I don’t think it will hurt much, if at all.
