<p>I made a typo on my ED application. It has now been amended in common app version 1. Instead of "our" I typed "ourt" by mistake....... Am I screwed?</p>

<p>nope noragon, you are good. Adcoms aren’t gods and do NOT expect perfection. they understand that one or two typos crop up no matter how much you review. So relax, it won’t matter.

<p>I’m in the same boat as you. I also applied to Cornell ED and in my common app essay I made a spelling mistake. I meant to use the plural form of the word “women” but instead I said “woman”. I was really discouraged when I found this out too. Since applying, I made changes to my essay and I am more confident in my more recent versions. This feeling stinks :(. </p>

<p>Quite a few CMU, BC, Upenn (mega reach), NYU, BU, UCLA, UCB, UCSB, UCSD some more I don’t remember.</p>
