U Chicago. What are my chances?

What are my chances of getting into U chicago?

Probably not all that huge I know. Specially with these numbers.

But tell me what you think

SAT score: 1970

Writing: 660
Reading:640
Maths:680

Full IB Diploma (all my classes are counted as weighted I assume)

I had a 3(D) one term in maths.

My grades frin 9-11 are pretty dire. (A mix of As Bs and Cs and even two Ds in grade 9!)

My final predicted grades, however, were
Eco Higher Level 7
Math Higher Level 6
History Higher Level 6
English SL 6
French SL 5
Bio SL 4

My mid terms were the same.
My mock exam grades which I'm sending in are 777666 (same classes in same order)

7-A* 6-A 5-B 4-C 3-D 2-E

ECs: Newspaper (editor in chief), drama lead for 3 years, Soccer captain, and Basketball team, worked at various NGOs

Interview went very well. Talked about Banking, current affairs, literature, women

I'll PM you if you want to see my essays I'll PM you because my I don't think my scores really reflect me. Feedback would be much appreciated.

Please remove ur essay asap

And I'm international

Your SATs are definitely sub-par for U of C. However, this may be partially forgiven if you're from an underrepresented country.

This is what troubles me. If your overall GPA isn't at least an A- you'll most likely be rejected. Remember that U of C is more selective than some Ivies (Cornell, arguably Brown) and is a reach for everyone, even people with perfect SATs and GPAs (and believe me, there are loads of those applying).

will someone read my stats and also let me pm them my essays? thanks

I'll chance you back!
