Current Sophomore
-3.33/4 (expect maybe a 3.4-3.5 at end of HS carrear)
-28-32 on ACT
-Many AP's by the end of my HS carrear (9-11) Almost all the rest are honors except Spanish
-One of the best HS in the nation (top 70)
-Instate
-Many clubs (almost all of them are charity clubs), extracurriculars (track team), and 80+ ----Volunteer hours (well known hospital in the area).

What are my chances at premed or engineering?

Seems good if that act is 32.

CC shows an average GPA of 3.8 and average ACT of 28, so it would be a high match to low reach for you if your ACT is 28. There is no point to chance you before you have a real score. You just need to look for the admission stat of your target schools.

You should always try to get your GPA to be a bit higher.

^ Very true. You can at least demonstrate an upward trend if you can get your junior GPA higher.

Thanks! Forgot to mention that the average GPA that got accepted from my school to UIUC, according to Naviance, was actually exactly where I am currently, 3.33.

You could always transfer into premed/engineering after your acceptance, UIUC has the 5th best engineering program after MIT, Stanford, Cal tech, Cal, and GIT…
All the people that went to UIUC from my school all went for premed and engineering and their average GPA was around 4.5 according to naviance
