U of Richmond

I'm an international student. Does anybody know what u of richmond like? does it has a good reputation? I'm admitted there and wondered whether people view it as a competitive and prestigious school. Please help.

I am also admitted to Franklin and Marshall. Which is better? I am likely to major in business, finance probably.

anybody?? i would appreciate a lot as i hv no chance to visit there myself

sure yes, it has a good amount of reputation. I've visited and the campus is GORGEOUS, but the student body itself isn't very diverse and it's very small <4,000 undergrads. It isn't on the same level as an ivy league, but not too far behind.

I'm not sure why you would apply there if you never visited and/or really heard about it. But I would say it's better than F&M.

Both excellent choices, however F&M tends to be moer of a liberal arts school although they have a good business program. Richmond is ranked on Business Week’s rankings for the top business schools. Both nice campuses, but if you want to know more about the business environment here is a link for the top undergrad business schools

Neither is a prestigious or well known school in the US. They are pretty much known only in their regions and will surely not be know in your country when you return.
